Here is a practice tip that Elliot gave while being an Artist in Residence at Berklee College of Music:
“My practice tip would be to make use of the time you have. Try writing down topics you need/want to work on and put together a schedule that divides your time by the topics listed. I would recommend splitting your practice regime in to two halves, fundamentals/technical (dealing with your instrument) & improvising/expression (working on your musicality). Make sure you’re really working on your subjects while leaving time to enjoy music so practicing doesn’t become a chore.”
